Metallic epoxy system

Depth, movement, and a one-of-one finish.

Designed to be different

No two metallic floors are exactly alike.

Metallic pigments create layered color, visual movement, and an illusion of depth. The system is customized to the room, so the finished pattern is genuinely unique.

Moisture-blocking base

A prepared slab receives an epoxy foundation chosen to help manage moisture from below.

Metallic pigment layer

Pigments are worked into clear epoxy to create flowing color and three-dimensional character.

UV-stable topcoat

A durable polyaspartic finish seals the design and amplifies its reflective depth.

Finish it your way

Choose gloss, semi-gloss, or satin, with traction adjusted for the setting.

Ideal for showrooms, retail spaces, restaurants, salons, basements, garages, and statement interiors.

Metallic color samples

Thirteen pigments. Limitless movement.

These pigments can be layered and worked by hand to create a floor with its own flow, depth, and character. Final movement varies with every installation.

Surface, transformed

Protection you can see. Performance you can feel.

A professionally built coating does more than change the color. It creates a continuous, cleanable surface and gives the room a finished sense of purpose.

Resists the routine
Built for the spills, scuffs, tires, tools, and foot traffic that come with an active space.

Designed as a whole
Color, flake, sheen, and texture work together—not as separate afterthoughts.

Prepped to bond
The visible finish starts with the work underneath: cleaning, profiling, and repair.

The five-step system

A lasting finish starts long before the topcoat.

Every layer has a job—from preparing the slab and controlling moisture to locking in the decorative finish.

Exploded diagram showing the five layers of the Concrete Shield coating system

The official Concrete Shield five-step application system.

  1. Repair
Cracks and damaged areas are addressed before the coating system is built.
  2. Diamond grind
The concrete is mechanically profiled and cleaned to create a reliable bonding surface.
  3. Prime
A slow-curing hybrid epoxy primer penetrates the slab and helps block moisture migration.
  4. Broadcast
Decorative color flakes are broadcast into the base, then scraped and leveled after curing.
  5. Topcoat
A non-yellowing polyaspartic topcoat seals the system with its final wear surface.

Good to know

Questions before you coat.

Why does surface preparation matter so much?

A coating is only as reliable as the surface it bonds to. Profiling, cleaning, and repairing the slab help create the foundation for the entire system.

Why combine an epoxy primer with a polyaspartic topcoat?

The slower-curing hybrid epoxy primer is selected for concrete penetration and moisture control. The polyaspartic topcoat provides the durable, non-yellowing final wear surface.

Is the concrete tested for moisture?

Yes. Moisture conditions are evaluated before coating so the preparation and system can be matched to the slab.

Will two metallic floors look exactly the same?

No. Metallic pigments move and blend during installation, creating natural variation and a one-of-one pattern on every floor.

Can I choose the texture and sheen?

Yes. The right combination depends on the space, exposure, cleaning routine, and how much traction you want underfoot.

Concrete, upgraded.

Give the hardest-working surface in your space a proper finish.
